As a yoga teacher, my ears perked right up when Wendy Harrop, my guest on today's Summer Fun Summit, shared that she created a mantra for herself. I could have jumped for joy and was quick to want to steal hers.
But after chatting with her a bit more, I realized I have my own mantra (2 actually) and they are the guiding principles of my life and this podcast.
I'd love to help you create your own mantra. Join us for our last day of the Summer Fun Summit tomorrow, and we'll work on just that. You can still sign up, and you'll get all the replays when you do.

I'm also offering a special bonus only to those on the call.
Thanks for listening.
I love you.
A little behind the scenes chat after Day 2 of the Summer Fun Summit. And a reminder that YOU are the only YOU out there. In the whole world!
There is NO way you can do it wrong, or fail or be "behind".
That just doesn't actually exist because your timeline is perfect for YOU.
I love you.
Today was the first day of my Summer Fun Summit and IT. WAS. A BLAST. So after it was over, I noticed that I found myself thinking constantly about a relationship that had just ended. Nothing at all happened with this person. And thinking about this person instantly made me feel bad about myself, doubting myself and second guessing everything that I do personally and professionally.
Why I share that with you is because it was my UPPER LIMIT kicking in. You see, I couldn't stand how good I was feeling. Subconsciously I didn't think it was safe, and so BOOM...instant bad thought. Which I could have nurtured and gone done a really bad path, maybe picked a fight with my husband, or been annoyed with my kids. But nope! Because I understand my own Upper Limit, I was able to catch it and let it go. Tell myself I'm safe and that I'm doing a great job and that relationship needs to rest right now and I'm not bad for it.
I hope you catch your own upper limiting thing after listening to this podcast. It's so great when we can transform it!
And you can still sign up for the Summer Fun Summit and get all the replays. It's been a blast, and I cannot wait for tomorrow's talk on travel, beach reads and style.

See you tomorrow!
I love you.
When I was a kid I was always organizing something. Sometimes a dance party or a game of hide and seek in our neighborhood. My mom said I was always "starting things" which is exactly what I help women do. Remember that little girl inside of you and operate from that place in more of your life. The answers are always within!
And one of the ways that I'm being the kid inside of me is by bringing the most extraordinary women together to talk about how to have more fun this summer!
In today's episode I'm sharing about the first 3 guests on the Summer Fun Summit that starts this Monday. It's free and you can sign up here: https://www.annakmorris.com/summerfun
I'll be joined by my friends Dupe Witherick, Rebecca Rankin and Nyla Rodgers to talk about finding a summer love, the best mocktails to drink and the Summer Solstice.
It's going to be a blast! Thanks for listening, and I hope to see you at the Summit.
I love you.
Storms hitting the beach today was the perfect reminder that we can only see the light when we've seen the darkness.
The only way through is to feel your feelings, and not assign them as good or bad. But to notice them, and let them pass by. Glimmers are something I teach in my 8 week course, The Reconnect, and help to reduce your cortisol levels and bring you back to your true self. If you want to learn more, here's a great article about them.

I love you. Go have fun!
Here's what I know and watch myself and clients (and let's face it, the whole world!) do...we kill all fun by desiring an outcome.
We forget that we are here to try new things, to play, to discover, to be CURIOUS. Instead, we try to get it right. We try to "do a good job". We try not to fail.
And when we do that we really are failing because we are missing the whole point of being human. To feel what it all feels like! The good and the bad. All of it.
So listen while I share about a pottery experience on the amazing Amanda Lovell's retreat. And how my own son is killing off joy at just 4 years old.
I love you. Thank you for listening.
And don't forget! I have a free Summer Fun Summit that starts next week. I'd love to help you have more fun in your life.

A quick episode to remind you that most of our overwhelming feelings are self created. We mostly cannot stand the joy or the sadness we are feeling. But here's what I know...you can. I can. And the more we embrace how we are feeling, acknowledge it, and learn to dance with it, the better our lives are.
Thanks for watching as I navigate this new podcast with two young kids, a very full life, and getting out the door to go on vacation! If you have ever felt like you can't have it all, let's talk. You can, but I'll be the first to warn you...it's pretty loud and messy!
