You may have recently seen a clip circulating on social media and the internet regarding an illustrated sermon by a well known minister, talking about the blood covenant. The actions portrayed disturbed and upset many, and it brought a question to the forefront of this teaching: was this teaching Biblical and a true representation of the better covenant brought by the blood of Jesus Christ? You may be surprised to learn the origins of this teaching and that it can be traced back to several books written about the blood covenant by professing Christians.
