If you’re going to be traveling with kids during the holiday season, first of all- I commend you! It’s a lot to travel alone or just with adults, but adding children brings an additional layer of complexity that may require additional support. In the form of useful travel-related items

You don’t have to buy everything, but you may need to buy some things, so I’m lending my opinions on what may be worth your money to acquire, depending on the age and stage of life of your family and the places you’ll be going.

Pleased to have another opportunity to talk parenting! There are lots of fun and light things about it. Challenging too.

Remember: On this show, the definition of parenting is broad. If you have impact or influence over anyone 17 and under, you could be contributing to the parenting process in long term ways, whether you realize it or not. It doesn’t hurt to be more informed :)

Take a solo trip! Go somewhere you’ve always wanted to go! On your own!

It’s liberating and empowering. I so so so so highly recommend it.

Caveat: You have to be prepared. Make plans and bring provisions that can will take into account the “just in case” nature of traveling by yourself so that whether you find yourself in a métropolitain area or in the middle of nowhere, you have a recourse to help yourself or to get help to you.

Then head out and enjoy! There are so many amazing places to see and things to do on this fascinating planet
