I have wanted to do this road trip for so so so long.

And one day I will =)

In the meantime, here’s a great start to the list of attractions you could stop and see, in large cities and small towns, from the Bean in Chicago to a leaning water tower in Texas and all the way to the Santa Monica Pier in California.

Pick a reliable vehicle that doesn’t mind the heat, and get to driving! What an incredible way to make your way across 2/3 of the US.

This is literally just occurring to me a day and a half later: Did I say Chevette? Or Chevelle?? It was a Chevelle, royal metallic blue with white racing stripes. Gorgeous vehicle. I was devastated when he sold it, though it was for a good cause. Sorry if I caused any confusion!
