Spending time with God our Father is the important thing and what we need to slow down and take part in. He desires a personal relationship. The love of Christ and His teachings as we find in the Word of God; being of one mind and one thought in His love is the tie that binds. We can though to allow ourselves to be bound by not forgiving and staying in darkness; full of anger and animosity. Choose the path of His love and light. One is not required to live as if they are in a monastery to be alone with God or to practice His presence. Inside monks had definitive prayer schedules, study schedules and meditation times. Aside from chores, meals and worship. Understand this, that when I’ve mentioned the sacrifice of time, prayer or worshipping God during your day; God KNOWS your schedule and sees that you are making time for Him. He will honor that as a sacrifice to Him. However, putting the guys or the girls first and getting to go, go, go with them in the hustle and bustle instead; that is diminishing His sovereignty and putting others as well as self before God. Not only in the comparative lesson Christ teaches us with the Pharisee and the publican, but when we allow Him to be diminished and vaunt ourselves…Luke 18:14…for everyone that exhalteth himself shall be abased and he that hunbleth himself shall be exhalted.
