Insurance and assurance are not synonymous but use. We are given blessed assurances by God in the Word and these are found throughout the scriptures. Seek His truths, His knowledge and wisdom in all things. Matthew 5:11&12, 16:24, Romans 8:16, John 10:27-29, Romans 8:38&39, Luke 6:26

A third part to the thankfulness we need to keep in our hearts toward God our Heavenly Father. Thankful, prayerful, worshipful and this will open the windows of heaven so that God will our out His blessings onto those that love Him; this from His infinite resources. The never-ending love that He has for us, His children and joint heirs in the Kingdom of Heaven along with Christ Jesus, as He promises us. Romans 15:13, 14:17, Matthew 23:27&28, Ezekiel 37:10&11, Ephesians 1:3, Habakkuk 3:17&18, Psalm 46:1

Be thankful for all the Lord provides and in all things give thanks.

God blesses us mightily and we indeed have so much to be thankful for. Sometimes it takes practice to be thankful in all things and for some it is easier. Paul reminded the church at Ephesus; do it like me, follow my example. Not at all as a braggart, but in truth. Always in truth as taught by the Holy Spirit and the very reason Saul was chosen of Christ, because he would be always truthful. Proverbs 24:14, James 1:5, Philippians 4:6, Luke 24:36, Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:15, II Corinthians 9:15.

He is indeed all knowing and fully aware of us, our needs and our ills. The enemy wants us to focus not on Him, but on all else and what is going on around us. Like Paul on his way to Rome by ship and the storm; the maelstrom that will come in our lives. Most importantly is that our Heavenly Father is fully aware and is with us always and He is omnipotent, all powerful. Matthew 16:1-12, Luke 24:44-49, Ephesians 2:8&9, 3:16-19, Psalm 62:8.

Learn to bear content as a simple sheep. With all the voices that vie for your attention; don’t pray like that, pray like this, worship this way, don’t worship that way; worship this deity and it’s okay to walk contrary to the Word of God, there’s no reason to bother asking for forgiveness because there’s nothing to be forgiven for. Hmmm…The Good Shepherd will lead you and guide you to green pastures, beside the still waters and his staff is to protect you, not to prod you. Romans 8:1&2, Isaiah 30:21, Philippians 4:6&7, John 7:38, Ephesians 5:18-20, I John 4:1, Romans 1:5, II Peter 3, Revelation 1-4.

The many voices that constantly tell us how to worship God or how to pray according to THEIR way. Well, know this; that God is NOT the author of confusion and there is only one way to worship God and show Him our love. That is with all our heart, soul and our mind; TOGETHER in unity and not separately. Pray for one another and all this petty bickering that ensues because of denominations is pretty ridiculous and not according to the Word of God, nor is it His wish for us to be separate. We are to be like minded and to practice being that way with each other. They will know we are Christians by our love. Really?! Do they? Are they able to see that? I Corinthians 14:27&28, 33, Romans 8:1&2, Isaiah 30:21, John 10:27, Psalm 23.

Are your wicks trimmed and the oil supply good? What is meant when God’s word speaks of that? With wicks trimmed the light will be brighter from the lamp and no smoke or pollutants. The oil supply so that the lamp will be ready all the time. How is YOUR oil? Is the spirit of truth abundant in you? Are you learning to be in fellowship with one another and know in truth that denominations mean nothing to our Heavenly Father? They do not and this is exactly what is spoken of in the scriptures when it is said that God is a respecter of no man or woman….He cares nothing of what you have or have not; cares nothing for one denomination over another. The character of the heart is all that matters to Abba. Believing that Christ Jesus came in the flesh, died for anyone and everyone to have the opportunity to be saved, adopted and be heirs and joint heirs in the Kingdom of Heaven. Faith in God and that the Holy Spirit guide and teach us. Knowing; more than just hearing about it, but KNOWING God is with us always and having a personal relationship with Him is the import, not just knowing about Him. Practice His presence. Psalm 73: 23&24, 25:4&5, I Corinthians 13:12, I Timothy 1:1-5, 2:1-8.

As we see in the Word of God and following the rule of faith; going into the second writing of the Kings we find the provision of our Lord God. Elisha told the widow to obtain vessels and “not a few.” God provided for her. God is always with us and will not leave nor forsake us. Psalm 73: 23&24, 25:43&5, I Corinthians 13:12

Our adoption letter found in Romans 8, to gather as in Hebrews 10:24&25, walk in faith as in Hebrews 11. It is most assuredly the substance and our hope.
