The commandments we are given to follow as not just that, but guidance for our steps. David speaks to this in Psalm 119:27, We find that God will give us strength; II Chronicles 16:9, Paul reminds us to continually give sacrifice to God; Hebrews 13:15.

With all things that are going on around us we allow ourselves to forget who and what we are. Children of God, joint heirs with Jesus in His kingdom. Saved by His grace and not by anything we have done. Sanctified by Him and His grace given and that grace was free. Romans5: 12, John 5:15, Matthew 24, John 3:14, John 3:10-14, II Timothy 3:1-5, I Peter 5:8. Lift your eyes toward heaven and our Lord.

When Paul speaks to this act of God in Acts 17, he is speaking to God overlooking the ignorance of man. Now we have been given the knowledge of truth; no longer making things up as we go along; He calls us to repentance. The Holy Spirit will show the “turning point”, that place where we must change direction. Come to the Father and as the song declares, His loving arms are open wide. Seek that and see it in His Word. I Corinthians 14, Acts 17, I Timothy 6: 15& 16, Psalm 145.

I Corinthians 13 speaks to us and is instructing us in charity. That word translates into love. We wrap our thought process around that and see charitable organizations, but are they PRACTICING love, AGAPE love. I have witnessed it to be not so. Speaking harshly to one’s seeking assistance. Start the day with God and taking on His thought process for our day; done through the Holy Spirit, putting on the Mantle of Christ and walking His way. Colossians 3:12.

The child like faith we must possess in order to break free of self imposed safe zone boundaries. Satan loves it when we stay there. Matthew 18, Matthew 19: 13, Matthew 19:16-24 is a descriptive by Jesus of how we must be. Moving forward WITH God because He’s already there and knowing what is on or in the path. If God is indeed with us, who or what could possibly be against us? In Numbers 13: 31-33 we see exactly why the feeble spies failed their people, their God and in diminishing Hashem they saw no way forward. They nurtured unbelief, forfeited opportunity and totally jeopardized the opportunity for fulfilling God’s promise to the nation.

Jesus speaks to this in His rebuke of the Pharisees. Matthew 12 is the narrative as Jesus healed a demoniac, a blind person and a dumb person. There were those that saw and believed, but the Pharisees declared Jesus was casting out demons in the name of the Prince of Flies, Beelzebub. Also a pseudonym for the devil. Jesus began teaching of the house divided; strength in unity and as one body, one mind and only one truth, His truth. Only His truth and not a shade of such, but ONLY His truth.

In Isaiah 41:10 we are reminded to not be afraid of anything and God will uphold us by His righteous right hand, strengthening us as we go forward in truth. Zephaniah reminds us that God’s love within should be a song of Him and not of anxiousness we at times replace it with. David reminds us too; Psalm 34:19 there may be many troubles arise, but He will deliver them that are in His truth, His way and follow His tenets.

Take note that God’s presence is real and true to those of us that truly believe and have faith. As we are told in Romans that God turns those things meant to be evil to good for them that love the Lord. There’s that thing called love again. Look through Biblical history and study. We find Joseph put in a pit and sold by his brothers. His father was lied to, but yet his Heavenly Father lifted him up. Daniel, the g the three young men that were with him in Babylon. Captives, yet lifted and given authority within the kingdom. These are but a couple of names but there are still more. Habakkuk lifted and told to be steadfast in the Lord’s will, Mordecai, Ruth, Esther. Stay steadfast in His tenets and He will bless. Psalm 89:15, Proverbs 4:23.

An old song from many years ago; they will KNOW we are Christians by our love, by our love, they will KNOW we are Christians by our love. Is that truth or just hearsay? For many it is just because what ought to be, but for many of us it is what must be. John speaks of this truth often; Jesus teaches this truth and God’s Word directs as truth. Proverbs 16:9 speaks to what we’d like to be, but in His love and truth, the Paracletos WILL guide(Holy Spirit). Paul reminds us of that love through Christ our Lord: Colossians 2:2-3, reminded again to seek that treasure which is His truth, knowledge and wisdom which ultimately brings us to His love. This is found in Isaiah 33:6. Remember the Rule of Faith; from front cover to back and back again. Study His Word to show thyself approved. Approved of man, mammon? Hardly; to be approved of God; which is the only validation that matters.

John 3:16, John 17, I John 2:15-17…Our love for God MUST outweigh the desires of the things in and of this world. All that is here is temporal, will fade away, but the power that is in the love of God is eternal. It raised Jesus from the tomb; it will raise us and exalt us in due time. God loves us as does Jesus. He laid down His life to pay a debt we had no way to cover…for love he did this.
