Bjoern has had a momentous career trajectory. His vast international experience in the advertising world includes GREY London, GREY New York, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, DDB Berlin and M&C Saatchi. Bjoern was named twice as one of the ‘top ten most influential people in advertising under 30’ and one of the few who could change communication for the better by the professional press.

Today, I'm having a GAS with Rob Henderson, a promising young intellectual at the University of Cambridge.

Rob grew up in foster homes in California. After working as a busboy, a dishwasher, and supermarket bagger, he joined the Air Force at the age of 17. Most of his enlistment was spent abroad, stationed in Europe and deployed in the Middle East. After serving, he attended Yale on the GI Bill and was subsequently awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship.

Once described as “self-made” by the New York Times, he is now a doctoral candidate in psychology at St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Quillette, among other outlets.

Today, I'm having a GAS with Kalle Hellzen, the Chief Creative Officer at 180 Amsterdam; one of Europe's most renowned creative shops.

Kalle joined 180 after an eight-year European hiatus. He served as executive creative director at R/GA and helped build the company from scratch to over 75 employees in just two years. Previously he established the creative arm of ACNE in the US as partner, creative director and director. He also held executive creative and innovation positions at award-winning game development studio Toca Boca and Goodby Silverstein & Partners.

Throughout his career, Hellzen’s work for has garnered a swath of international accolades including Cannes Lions, Art Director's Club, SXSW, the One Show, Clio Awards, Epica, New York Festivals and many more.

Today, I'm having a GAS with Hermeti Balarin, the outgoing Creative Partner at Mother.

Hermeti is a superstar of the London ad industry who, along with his wife Ana, has been a key figure in shaping the culture at Mother. Under their leadership, Mother became one of the hottest creative agencies London has ever seen.

Since our conversation, it has been announced that Ana and Hermeti have made the decision to end their time at Mother and move to Wieden + Kennedy Portland. This had not been made public at the time of recording.
