Currently, she is an outspoken advocate for the protection of Hawaiian lands, water, ocean resources and marine life, and iwi kūpuna. Healani sits on various community boards and is a member of the O'ahu Water Protectors, a group of leaders who are calling for the shut down of the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility.

Dani Espiritu is a Kanaka Maoli educator from Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu currently living in Waimalu, where her mother's ʻohana is from. She is a member of the Oʻahu Water Protectors and is also dedicated to the restoration of loʻi kalo (irrigated taro fields) and traditional food systems.

Mikey Inouye is an independent filmmaker and community organizer with O’ahu Water Protectors and the Shut Down Red Hill Mutual Aid Collective.
