It took Marina Hofmann 5 years to recover from the head-on crash she and her husband were in. If her husband hadn’t leaned over from the driver’s side to cushion Marina’s blow he would have died because the engine was pushed into the driver’s seat.
Marina likely would have died as well without her husband’s heroic move. But God had another plan. Dr. Marina Hoffman’s a Bible professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University and author of the award-winning book, Women in the Bible Small Group Bible Study.
She joins the team to share her riveting story of survival and she shares how Mary, the mother of Jesus inspired her in her 5-year recovery that included not only physical and brain injuries, but also PTSD, depression, and anxiety. And how Mary still inspires her and speaks to us about trust, obedience, and faithfulness to God.
Last, Shawna’s been trying to control and fix all her problems lately. A few days back the Lord posed a question: “Do you think you really can solve all the world’s problems?” And last, Perry shares the joy of being able to lead Bimmer’s dad to Jesus. Share this show!
