As some of you may know, at the end of this year, we’re opening a third location for Paradigm at our Overland Park campus! Last night, Pastor Chad started a new series discussing the necessity of this move called “Headed West.” 🚗

So why are we headed west?

1️⃣ The need is great!

In Romans 10:1-4, Paul talks about his adamancy to save his people. He describes the Israelites as people who have a zeal for God but are ignorant of His righteousness and the salvation He offers. In their ignorance, they seek to establish their own righteousness. Our generation today is a lot like the Israelites of Paul’s age. With the increase of mental health issues, there is also an all-time high of spiritual openness in our society.

2️⃣ The message is clear.

The perfect response to that spiritual openness is Jesus. God has called us to herald this message and make it clear: we are only saved by calling upon the name of the Lord. We do not have to earn salvation; by believing in Him, we earn righteousness and escape condemnation. No one is too far gone from the mighty salvation of Jesus. 🤍

3️⃣ The time is now!

We are living in a unique cultural movement where the need for Jesus is great, and people are more open than they have ever been before. We, as Christians, are the strategy to preach the word of God. God has always used people to reach other people. No matter the season you’re in, the time is now to go all in spreading the word of God. 🕊️
