Bill Perkins is among the most successful hedge fund managers in the United States, focussing on venture capital and energy markets, while at the same time being a very passionate poker player, Twitch streamer, karaoke singer and father of two. 

On this week's episode of Heads Up with Remko, Perkins opens up about his personal life, taking us on a journey from growing up in Jersey City to living a jet-setting life in the Caribbean. 

The road to success wasn't a clear-cut one for Perkins, who started at the bottom as "the assistant to the assistant of the assistant," working his way up to owning his investment firm. Back in 1997, Perkins founded Small Ventures USA, and he later joined Centaurus Energy in 2002. 

Currently, Perkins managed the Houston-based energy hedge fund Skylar Capital, while at the same time traveling to player poker and explore the world.
