I work as a Consultant Psychologist in Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪 in Africa. I am passionate about mental health and this is part of making a positive and lasting impact on humanity.

Look inwards for the strength within you.

Triggers or reminders of our past hurts are just that! They are not our current reality and should not be given too much attention. They do help us process our life experiences especially the emotion, but we should not dwell on them.

Shame is a killer, subtle and silent so it must be dealt with decisively.

Empathy allows us to see who the other person really is so we can be better placed to accept them and see how best to relate.

Planning yourself means that you absolutely prioritize you and make this your daily goal. This year, focus on you and what you want to achieve as you pace yourself through it.
