This is a survival guide for the outsiders: It’s hard to coexist with people that think so differently from you— but not impossible.
Not only is it possible to coexist with people that have completely different belief systems and cultural values, but it’s actually possible to form magical bonds and close connections with them.
How boring would it be if we were all the same? Why not embrace our differences and match them like puzzle pieces with the intention of increasing diversity— expand our way of thinking and make life more fun & profound.
Cultures from across the world are more connected than ever through technology and the accessibility to travel! Yet we are more disconnected from each other and our emotional bonds than ever.
Why???
I think the missing ingredient is exactly what I describe in this episode; something I’ve learned from experience by traveling so much and living in a culture that goes against everything I value, and not only that, but constantly judges my life choices.
These experiences have taught me compassion, deep love, acceptance, and how to bridge the gap between cultural / religious differences to form beautiful bonds with people that complement and balance my views out.
