  • Transitions with April Lamoreaux

Kirk chats with April Lamoreaux, LPCC-S to talk about transitions and how changes in her life helped her decide to pursue her Ph.D.

April's faith fuels her passion to encourage others to work towards restoration with themselves and within their relationships. She wants individuals to be refreshed in who they are so they can know and become the best version of themselves. She wants therapy to be a place where a person feels safe to unpack the difficult parts of themselves and feels supported in that process, but also encouraged that they do not have to stay there – healing is possible. As a training coordinator in the mental health field for over 10 years, she specializes in providing mentorship and support to new and developing therapists as they journey towards becoming the professional they dreamed they could be.
