In this episode, Lauren talks with Maria Christini, who is 29 years old, and is a teacher and nanny. After dealing with symptoms of chronic Lyme for 20 years & likely getting it when she was a young child, Maria has a lot of wisdom to share and is a wealth of knowledge. She shares about different kinds of inner work she has done to heal not only physically but emotionally & mentally - including EMDR, somatic work, IFS (Internal Family Systems), EFT tapping, and DNRS. She shares other tools that have been helpful to her including how she has learned how to muscle test herself, atlas chiropractic care (which helps with craniocervical instability & EDS), along with multiple medicines including Alinia and low-dose naltrexone.
Maria also talks about grief, the importance of being gentle with yourself, and how to deal with triggers.
