Daniel Aipa of The Ku Project sits down with the Chief Executive Officer of the Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC), Monique Ibarra, to learn how she got to where she is now and about the services behind the domestic violence non-profit. In this talk story session, we cover a lot of different topics like bringing awareness to domestic violence, the services and programs DVAC provides for survivors of domestic violence, and we share personal stories of overcoming adversity. We realized having these conversations not only brings awareness but also creates a space of healing and reflection.
