West Gambian Kora musician Salieu Suso brings us traditional Kora music. The Kora is 21-string harp traditionally made with a gourd, cow hide and antelope strings, invented by a distant ancestor and passed down through generations. The kora music was used in royal courts to help kings make hard decisions, to decide over battle strategies and among warriors to ease trauma from battle.

But when the real estate of the southern U.S. coast is eyed by the wealthy, tax hikes and land auctions threaten the homes of the people who have been stewards of the region for generations."
