It won't happen all at once, but changes will be made that will be more politically correct, than scientifically correct. Over the coming months we need to be alert and careful that our personal freedoms are not lost forever because of this current crisis.
With a global pandemic in full swing, the U.S. is the only industrialized modern society where our citizens not only have to worry about getting sick, but they also have to worry about financial ruin if they do.
Separating the hype from the truth, and looking at the situation rationally is the best way to approach this situation. This is not the first time we have seen this familiar story, and it will not be the last. Taking a step back from the hype is the best way to deal with the crisis.
When someone goes to the doctor with a health issue one of the most common questions the doctor gets is, "What is it?" This does little to help the patient. The real questions should be, "Why is it?" Perhaps if we were more concerned with why health problems are present as opposed to naming them, we would not be as sick as a nation as the U.S. currently is.
The United States is far from the healthiest nation. Authorities like to place the blame on the public instead of the system. Maybe a part of the problem is the questions we ask, or fail to ask. Join us as we ask the hard questions and work to improve our health, and our healthcare system.
