We are constantly told that training for "performance" is a great way to transition away from aesthetics and improve body image.

But what does that mean in practice?

Michelle spoke to women's health and performance coach Danni Bosworth to discuss what this actually means.

Danni is an online coach and nutritionist, with over a decade of experience in fitness.

Today, Michelle sat down to chat all things performance nutrition and body image with Holly Priestland.

Holly is a nutrition coach and fellow psychology nerd, who specialises in combat sport nutrition. She holds an MSc in Psychology & Neuroscience and her research interests centre around athletic body image and the influences on same.

We discussed everything from how body image issues present differently in athletes, supporting athletes and their relationship with food and the challenges of keeping a positive body image when you're required to cut weigh to compete.
