When you tune into your inner, unlimited knowing, the external fuzz of life can feel less irritating and intrusive. You don’t need to bother so much with outside stimulus when your nervous system is grounded in your intuition.
When have you found yourself almost overwhelmed by a situation, and then discovered that, although it was too powerful to control, you didn’t have to be tossed around by it? You may have discovered that, with trust in your highest self, you could ride that wave.
This meditation from the kundalini tradition has been a useful visualization for countless students during the challenge of labor. During my own labor, I found myself taking refuge in the inner strength I had developed through challenging meditations such as this.
