Probiotics supplements jumped 127 percent from 2011 to 2015, showing they are the fastest growing supplement in the U.S. marketplace. This growth and high demand is due to probiotic innovation, which is populating in every layer of the probiotic market from strain research, number of strains in the formulation, health benefits, regulatory compliance, delivery forms, packaging, pricing, marketing, point of sales and outreach to consumers.
