In 2016, more U.S. adults are taking supplements than in years past, accounting for more than 170 million who turn to supplements to add nutrients to their diets. The most recent annual survey conducted by Ipsos Public Affairs on behalf of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) found that 71 percent of U.S. adults take supplements, which is an increase from 68 percent last year.
