Healthy Perspectives w/ Jeremiah

Jeremiah was talking with some close friends and this podcast is a result of the brief but valuable conversation. They posed a question, "How do you know if your content matters?" Well, one way to find out is to pull up old content and hit the play button. Relevant content should remain relevant for more than a few days. Today we let you test out our relevance by listening to a podcast from a year ago. Why don't you tell us if our content is relevant or not?

We take a look at the current issue about men participating in women's sports. There's a lot of complexity in this issue in some ways and there are some ways this issue is as simple as it gets. We talk specifically about Imane Khelif and Angela Carini who both wanted gold medals in the olympics. We offer a simple solution that would resolve the issue overnight. We also address empathy for inclusion and exclusion because dreams are real for everyone.

Tip of the day: Stop judging so hard

We take a look at the opening ceremonies to the olympics in this episode. There was a "last supper" scene depicted and so many people are navigating this in an obviously unhealthy way. We will challenge the LGBTQ community and the Christian community in this podcast. If you don't want to be challenged, we suggest you skip it.

Today we take a look at goodbyes. In particular, we focus some attention on the experience of the counselor in a goodbye that is clinically appropriate or necessary. All counselors have to experience this and many of us grieve just like you at the end. It's very important to know the boundaries but it might be more important to know how real the relationship is.

Tip of the day: I am free

In this episode we discuss the heard mentality. We use Jeremiah's lack of belonging as a doorway to explore the dysfunction in today's party affiliation. Democrats won't accept him because of his demographics along with other things AND Republicans won't accept him because they would rather ignore him. Check out the journey and let us know what you think.

Tip of the day: Not every accusation deserves a response.

Today we take a look at an easily predictable future event...Race baiting. We bring some receipts for you to look at. As always, we don't tell you what to think but hope to help you know how to think. In this eye opener, we addres some cultural lies such as directionality of race. We also show you how race baiting and racism show up in the culture.

Today we get to hear a lot of people owning their mistakes. Mr. Raskin owns his failure and compounds it with another failure by changing the subject. Director Cheatle owns her failure and takes "full responsibility" only to compound her failure in the form of incongruence(says one thing and does another). You may be asking yourself, "How is this a clinical counseling podcast?".

We take a look at how trust is built and broken. We show you how to see through lies, secrets and deceptions. We don't have to tell you "what to think" because we believe you're smart enough to figure it out. We simply teach people how to think in case nobody ever did.

We take a look at the aftermath of an assassination and how horrible it is that the rhetoric returned in less than 72 hours. People are ignoring the human aspect of fellow Americans. Hatred has returned to and we have entered the cultural status quo. We will likely look back, in the not too distant future, and realize the missed opportunity to regain some humanity. My hope is that this podcast will help us do it sooner rather than later.

Tip of the day: Filter

Sincerely,

Jeremiah

We take a look at HOW to think about the assassination attemp. Most people are trying to tell you WHAT to think about it.

Self praise is awful under most circumstances. We go there today because we genuinely care about making a difference. You need to know you aren't wasting your time with us so we've decided to show you. The objective here is to practice empathy and help people learn "how to think" instead of being just another organization who tells you "what to think".
