This short story that was written by Shan Bautista is inspired from the Bataan Death March during World War II that killed approximately 10,000 men. The story is written through the point of view of a soldier’s endless hell loop and trauma that he experienced during the World War II and the idea that today’s generation slowly forgets about the essential parts of our History inspired him to create a piece that isn’t just a reminder but also as a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during the war.
