Hear me out, Sis. episodes

  • Health stress // Don’t let loneliness lead you back to people God has removed from your life // A healing conversation with my Dad

In this episode I briefly touch on my health ( currently going through it, pray for me)

Also the main topic is loneliness leading you back to people that God has removed from your life. This is a very common thing and I think we don’t discuss this enough.

It’s okay to miss someone who was once a part of your life. However missing them doesn’t mean you go back. When God removes somebody from your life he’s heard and seen things you haven’t so trust him.

I also had a healing convo with my dad. I was teaching him how to say sorry.

I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for an African parent to apologize 😂

  • Healing Conversations with my Mum

In this episode I discuss how opening up to my mom led to us healing our somewhat fractured relationship.

I had a conversation with my mum about her parenting

We were both vulnerable and there was a lot of honesty and comprehension

She opened up about her parenting and explained that she came from a place of love.

This conversation was everything I never knew needed.

The convo also reminded me that communication really is key

  • Moving out of your parents home. Yay or Nay?

At some point, we all feel that pull, the desire to step out of our parents’ house and into a space we can finally call our own.

In this episode, I reflect on the beauty of independence and the challenges that come with it.

There’s a certain kind of magic in creating your own space and building your life from the ground up.

There are so many important things I’ve learned from moving out (especially financial discipline) and why it can be one of the most empowering decisions you’ll ever make, when the time is right of course

  • PTSD from being God’s strongest soldier // How long do you take to move on from heartbreak? Will you heal in heaven ? Lol

Gods strongest soldier ? I’m sure you have been on that list at some point. Maybe even consecutively.

Sucks I know but it strengthens you.

If you’re similar to me and have topped that list quiet a number of times you’ll attest to the fact that you can actually develop PTSD.

It’s difficult to re wire your brain to enjoy the good things after constantly going through innumerable hurdles.

In this episode I dive into how being on that list induced a lot of anxiety and also the active steps I’m taking in order to heal from the PTSD

Also how long do you take to heal from a heartbreak ? Are you like me who takes a million years or you’ll heal in your next relationship or in heaven ? Lmao

I hope you enjoy this episode.

Easily one of my faves. I really relished recording it for you guys.

  • Isolation.. Hearing from God

Isolation if you’re like me is important, especially if you use that time to seek God and hear what he’s been/ is trying to tell you..

The last two weeks have involved some isolation and I’ll explain what God has revealed to me.

I won’t get into the intricacies of this episode.

More than anything I just want you to listen

  • Take care of yourself. Your health is your wealth

Eat healthy, exercise and drink lots of water.

Being in good health is one of the biggest blessings. It’s not until you fall ill and realize how much of a blessing good health is.

This episode is includes a few habits I’ve adopted that have been really helpful to me health wise.

  • Black Tax

In this episode, we take a hard look at the infamous black tax; the unspoken obligation that often keeps many in our communities from truly moving forward, the cultural expectation that can quietly drain our resources and stall our dreams.

While the dream is to build generational wealth and create opportunities for the next generation, the constant financial pull backwards can derail even the best-laid plans. Let’s unpack why this cycle exists, the toll it takes, and how we can start rewriting the narrative.

  • Life update and everything in between

Hey everyone, just dropping in with a quick life update!

In this episode I’m speaking about how I prayed back in 2022 for my job and now, in 2025, I actually have the job.

I also share what it felt like getting exactly what you prayed for and how social media can sometimes make things look way glossier than they really are-because no one sees the struggle behind the scenes.

Also the waiting season I went through, (still going through btw) stepping out of my comfort zone, and all the little things happening in my life right now.

Just wanted to keep you all in the loop!

  • Still waiting on God // Late 20s and the Marriage talk.

    Hey Everyone

I’m back like I never left.

Today I’m diving a little deeper into my waiting season.

Not the easiest season but I’m trusting God. If you’re waiting on God for something, please keep the faith.

    Isaiah 60:22

Also everyone’s getting married.. We’ve really reached that age.

Scary, but aging is a beautiful thing.

Marriage is a gift from God and it’s a forever thing. Pick your life partners wisely ☺️
