Alex has been touched by Cancer on a handful  of occasions - indirectly. He has fortunately never had it himself. he talks in detail about his experiences of going through Cancer journeys with people very close to him that had received a diagnosis.

This is about what it's like for people touched indirectly. We forget or don't realise the effect that Cancer has on people close to us.

Craig shares a detailed insight into his daughter Kelly's stage 4 Bowel Cancer story. Sadly Kelly passed. However it was her journey and their experience that lead to creating the now very well known campaign called "Catch Up With Cancer", which was started and has gained significant countrywide support to lobby with the government, specifically to put a plan in place to make sure cancer patients get treated quicker - always.

Wow, wow, wow.

This interview with Craig is so important for everyone. Craig received a diagnosis of "incurable lung cancer". Craig refused to accept it and took it upon himself to find a way to beat. And beat it he did!

Craig talks in detail about exactly how he did it. 

It just goes to show that even when the medical world don't have a cure or answer or tell you that your diagnosis is "incurable", it doesn't mean it is.

The take away from this interview is the importance or taking responsibility for your own journey and hence outcome.

Kerri talks in detail about what she and her family did to better the outcome and journey for their mother. This interview is a significant insight into just some of the things we can all do, outside of what the medical world does or doesn't advise, to better our prognosis and quality of life.

This interview has a profound impact on me and I have implemented my own protocol that I continue to develop and tweak - and it works!

This interview was, yet again, another fantastic one. 

Laura gives a real and honest insight to her journey. The take away from this interview is to understand how important it really is to push the experts and specialists hard to get what you need or want. Whilst we get amazing help from what I call 'the medical world', it is so important to do your own research and to push the experts hard on what the options to deal with your cancer really are. I can speak from experience that if I hadn't taken on some responsibility for my own journey, I wouldn't have received half of the benefits or treatments that I have.

Firstly thank you Pauline for this fantastic interview.

In addition to talking about Pauline's journey, which in itself is a real insight, we talked about 'other people' and what they say and do. By this I mean what non cancer patients, friends, family, acquaintances say to cancer patients. Maybe controversial things or insensitive things. This part of the interview is a real eye opener and goes a long way, I hope, to educating people about the things they say and do and the affect or impact it has with the patient or survivor.

The Orange Foundation are doing amazing things for Cancer patients. Specifically funding treatments and more the the NHS either don't provide or will not fund or pay for.

It is becming more and more widely known that in addition to the traditional treatments provided by the NHS, Cancer patients need to access other services, products and treatments that can help to fight and beat their illness. For example the Orange Foundation have approved the funding of a course of Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber therapy for me. I would not have been able to access this treatment of it wasn't for the support of Michael and the Orange Foundation charity.

This interview not only talks about what they do but also the back story of how they were founded. Sadlly following the passing of Michael's wife due to cancer - who's favourite colour was orange. Hence their name.
