In this week's episode Holly chats with Marisa about her recent experience participating in the Whistler Half Ironman.
Marisa talks about her past as a non-runner and how she built up to her first 5km. Over the years the challenges got bigger and bigger, eventually leading up to this Ironman (which included a 1.9km (1.2 mile) , a 90km (56 mile) cycle, and a 21 km (13.1 mile) run).
Marisa and Holly talk about the physical and mental preparation & awareness that is necessary to take on a goal like this, and how you can work towards some massive goals in your own life as well.
