Grief doesn’t have to become a life sentence.
In this episode of Heart Healing Conversations, Dawn and Janna are joined by Ed Owens, Vice President of the Grief Recovery Institute, for a heartfelt conversation about grief, emotional healing, and finding hope after profound loss.
After losing his three-year-old son, Ed spent years searching for answers before discovering a path toward healing.
Together, they explore why so many people believe grief lasts forever, why well-meaning advice often hurts more than helps, and what emotional recovery can truly look like.
In this episode, you’ll discover:
* Why grief isn’t only about death
* Common myths that keep people stuck in emotional pain
* How to support someone experiencing loss with compassion
* Why emotional pain deserves attention
* The difference between surviving and truly healing
* How hope and joy can return after life’s most difficult experiences
