Heart of Cardiff

DAYSH on Heart of Cardiff.

She's been an artist since she was 16, starting out posting car freestyles every Friday just to get her first thousand followers. Her sound now sits somewhere between alternative RnB, trap and lo-fi rap, and as she puts it: "My music is either fun or extremely sad, but it's always very introspective."

The turning point was ALONG THE WAY, the eleven-track mixtape that marked the shift out of freestyles and into records — and whose release party sold out, with over 200 people through the door. Her most recent single, INSANE, landed in February.

She's got Red Bull Mic Flex, JBL Academy and Steeze Factory to her name, alongside a run of brand collaborations, and there's new music on the way.

In this one: the first freestyle that happened by accident, being the only woman on a cypher set, going quiet for two years to build something, how much of herself she actually owes an audience, and why she won't release anything unless she's happy with it.

BBY GOOSE

A multi-platform hyperrave queen and certified party

starter, BBY GOOSE fuses trance, hyperpop, techno and

eurodance into something ecstatic, emotional and

impossible to box in. Big synths, euphoric drops, raw

feeling — she doesn't follow the rave, she reroutes it.

Cardiff-based, she played Boiler Room in January 2025

and has spent the past year building across the UK and

Europe, sharing stages with Paul van Dyk, Helena Hauff,

Marlon Hoffstadt, Young Marco and Dr. Rubinstein.

In this one: her dad calling her music noise before he

came to watch her at Boiler Room, why she has no plan B,

what still happens before every set, and why she won't

build a career on a viral moment.
