A young shrine attendant is preparing for the annual Sowing Day festival but discoverers that the God of the Fields has mysteriously shirked their festival duties.

Merrin and the kobolds manage to avoid the wyvern as they head towards the big city. They find they're not the only travelers in town as news of the wyvern has put everyone on edge.

Merrin understands that the distant thunder is more than just a bad omen and continues to lead the kobolds away from the wyvern, but heavy footsteps are following them through the forest.

Merrin puts her knowledge of wyverns to the test as our adventurers attempt to avoid an encounter with one. The Paga also send Merrin a mysterious sign.

Caught in a thunderstorm, our adventurers find themselves in the unenviable position of pushing through the mud or finding shelter. With morale at a low point, Merrin tries to keep spirits high.

After a good night's rest, much needed baths, and enough rations for the trip ahead, the trio heads out for their next mail delivery job. Despite warnings of a wyvern, it doesn't seem anything could dampen the spirits of our adventurers...

Merrin returns to town to get paid for the successful hunt. Knowing the group will need more money down the road she also looks for work at the post office, but an ominous warning makes the kobolds nervous about their trip to the next town.

Merrin has to adapt when faced with an angry rhino boar after one of the kobolds blows her cover and the other gets seriously injured.

Our adventurers are out of pretty much everything and are forced to find work if they're going to continue their journey. They journey out into the woods to find some small game but Merrin's tracking skills lead them to something a little more dangerous.

Merrin wakes up from her dream which began as a memory but turned to a nightmare. Along with the kobolds, she makes her way to the next town to hopefully find a place to stay and a way to earn some gold.
