Fi: Helsingin asuinalue oli pukeutunut juhlaan.
En: The residential area of Helsinki was dressed for celebration.

Fi: Talven syvä lumivaippa peitti kadut, ja jokaisesta ikkunasta välkkyivät joulun valot.
En: The deep winter snow blanket covered the streets, and Christmas lights twinkled from every window.

Fi: Mikko asteli Aino vierellään halki lumisen kadun.
En: Mikko walked with Aino by his side across the snowy street.
