Hate, or hatred, as an emotion, has a close relationship with fear. Acclaimed author and PhD Siri Hustvedt talks with philosopher, journalist, and former war reporter Carolin Emcke. They discuss the occurrence of hatred; who it can be directed at and how it can both unite and divide.
