My guest today is Kathryn Nedder, who shares about her experience that resulted from an unplanned sign up with Be The Match. Be The Match is a nonprofit organization that matches up donors with recipients for bone marrow transplants.
Kathryn shared with me she “hates” needles and never thought she would get matched until she was well into her adulthood.
The reason she decided to go forward with it was reflecting on if it was her or her family, she would want someone to do whatever they could do to help them have a chance.
If you are interested in learning more about signing up to be on the bone marrow registry, check out the website of www.bethematch.org.
