Israeli police have made dozens of arrests overnight as tens of thousands of demonstrators call for a deal to free hostages in Gaza.

Protesters are worried Israel's expanded military operation in Gaza will endanger the lives of remaining hostages. It comes as the Israeli military has announced plans to relocate residents in northern Gaza to "safe zones" in the south as Israel attempts to seize control of Gaza City.
