Now during my reading of  (Deuteronomy chapter 28) it appears that there are more curses than blessings, but when you hear the details of the curses you know it is the opposite of the details of the blessing, just explained in more details. So as the Lord explained to Moses these things that would befall Israel, if they should turn away from Him these are the same things that is slowly but surely creeping into our nation and if we do not heed the warning signs we are going to soon be in the same predicament, as Israel of old. If the Lord don't come back and take us home sooner, you see in the last days these horrific times are going to happen anyways. (2Timothy 3:1-7) read it. So maybe we are just at the  leading edge of the horrific times to come, God knows! Remember I said in my last podcast that the word of God is a living Word.
So what was relevant back in Moses day; is still relevant today because that same living Word is being either a blessing if we obey, or curse if we disobey. God even says: "More over all these cursed shall come up on thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou harkening not unto the voice of the Lord thy God. To keep His commandments and His statues which He commanded thee." (Deuteronomy 28:45) So are we just a step away from self destruction or do we take that little black book the Bible, dust it off, and start reading it again; raise our children according to the words therein and turn this nation around. I applaud the president's effort of try to bring back manufacturing and the American jobs, but unless we get the Word of God back in us, it'll be like wheat chaff, or dust in the wind! We want to be the wheat not the chaff, blown away by the wind. (Matthew 3:12) read it.

Remember under the banner of God's blessing how when we go to war, how our enemy are to flee! My Bible says: "The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against the one way, and flee before these seven ways." (Deuteronomy 28:7) so you see when we have the Lord as our general we don't have to worry about retreat we come out victoriously. But now that Satan has planted sin in the camp, we now have these nations who rise up and bolster there power against the US, why? Because Satan knows he has put sin in the camp, and he knows God will not support a people that harbors sin. So Satan pushes the nation's to flex their muscle.
But the difference between them winning a battle against the USA is just a sin repentance today and prayer away! Let us learn from history that with God on our side who can be against us? (Romans 8:28-39) paraphrased read it. Now our Young Nation is only 247 years young; but even we have some history where we have invoked the name of the Lord on our behalf and we have won victorious battles let us call upon the name of the Lord our God today to help us get sin out of the camps, lives and homes, so we can stop having these murderous acts taking place in our schools, homes, churches and public gatherings places, be it in our parks, streets, state capitols etc., let us call on the name of the Lord to bring our nation back in order under His banner of love, receiving His blessings not curses.

Here is where I believe the United States of America stands right now in history and that is where we start in Deuteronomy 28:15 it says: "But it shall come to pass if thou will not hearken until the voice of the Lord thy God to observe to do all His commandments and His statues which I commend thee this day that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:" (Deuteronomy 28:15). Now some may say "brother Gene this was written some 3,000 - 5,000 years ago how can it be relevant to us today?" Because it's a living Word! Listen my friend the Word of God was written over a period of time 1500+ years, by 40 authors in 3 separate languages, these experiences were for our examples, all God inspired, with some scriptures and the commandments dictated by God, written by men, and preserve by God!
And because God's Word is a living Word, it can relate to them back in Moses the initiator in his day, and John the revelator in his day, it can relate to us today and then anyone who comes after us upon the face of the Earth, Why? Because the living Word is always present, it's never in the past. That's why things said way back then, we can relate to today; whether it's a blessing or a curse. Why? Because it's the living Word! Read my lips as I say it again: "It's the living Word, it's always present, never in the past!" It may speak of past events, but it's effects are always present. Where we as a people past away, we die off; but God's living Words goes on, the Word of God lives forever, (1Peter 1:25) and now and forever in the person of Jesus Christ.

Listen to me my fellow Americans "We have nothing to fear, but fear itself." words spoken so eloquently by former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. You see these lies that have been spread throughout this nation that has caused us so great a division, to separate us, is from the pits of hell. We as a nation and a people need to unite, end this lie now! You as an individual need to purpose in your heart: "the buck stops here" with me, I am not going to pass this foolishness and hatred down to my children. My white friends understand that black people do not wish to take this country, there is no race war planned, nor a rebellion for past slavery. If you have a race war plan squash it! We forgive the past and just want to be included as a people in this nation; just like any other immigrant who arrives on it's shores. Remember these words: "All men are created equal." Through the work of so many in the past and the pen of President Lincoln we are free, Let not fear itself cause you anxiety or panic, we love all people here. There are a few on both sides that needs to repent and forgive, only love can conquer hate!
Sure as a people blacks of old came over on slave ships, shackled with chains, under the whip, abuse of the taskmasters of that day! Surely we have been abused and used and mistreated; but we forgive you for the pass, Jesus said "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do!" That act and time, is forgiven, end it now on both sides! Don't perpetuate this sin of fear & hatred of people who don't hated you. Let love rule from now on: Look how our children have learned to coexist, and that should tell you as adults something is right and if we don't teach our kids otherwise our children will succeed and coexist. End the hate of all people,  America is a melting pot, we want to get along with all people, would you please let us be a part of America? And put away this bigotry and hatred? My Lord Jesus Christ was hated for no reason just because He was good. Is it any Wonder that others are hated for no reason, others who do not hate you; but if its fear, learn to trust? If it's hatred, learn to love. Let it begin with you and me!

I read in one of the prosperity preachers booklet that after Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again that we weren't supposed to have any more poor people but rather all men are supposed to be rich. I put that book down. Even Jesus himself said that "you will always have the poor with you," you remember that text when Judas was complaining about Mary using that expensive ointment to anoint Jesus feet. Which could have been sold and given to the poor. But like Judas we find that people even to this day use the poor as an excuse to collect money and when you look deeper into their purse/operation, you find out that sometimes we have wealthy people at the helm of that organization getting wealthier. (John 12:3-8) read it. 
In fact right here in Las Vegas we had a wealthy lady in a wheelchair in the middle of the center divider of a busy intersection taking offerings from ever day people and just so happened a police officer pulls up who knew her and ask her what are you doing out here? Telling her it was dangerous. "She said I'm collect money for my non-profit organization." now remember what I said in the beginning she was a wealthy woman, she could have given of her own wealth, but rather she was willing to risk her life and collect other people's money, to give to her charity. Wow, talking of the love of money, some even worship their money. I don't think they're thinking about their Lazarus or Jesus Christ. Jesus was spot-on when He said "when the Son of Man comes shall He find faith on the Earth?" (Luke 18:8) paraphrased read it.

There is an old Spiritual we sing in church, that says: "We'll understand it better by and by!" And that is true, when we're in heaven and we sit down at the feet of Jesus and He explains to us why He had to come here, why He had to lay down His life to redeem us, and why there was no other gift or no other sacrifice that could have atone for mankind's sin, it's then I believe we will fully understand and appreciate all that He did to redeem man. Then this scripture will make more sense, "how he covered our sins, of why we're there, why God want see us but Christ in us, not because of what we did, but because of what He did." (Psalms 32:1, 2) read it. I am not here to rain on anyone's Easter parade, I wish you well and I wish you all God's blessings.
So Happy Easter to those of you who recognize it in that respect. I title this podcast "Happy Resurrection Day," because I learned later in life that Easter really didn't have a biblical origin; so I'm hoping either way people come together during this season and remember that it was on the day of Jesus Christ crucifixion and resurrection that man got saved from eternal damnation through the shedding of His blood, the one and only true Lamb and Son of God. He brought us justification through His cross. (Romans 4:25) read it. Thank you God for Jesus Christ for if He hadn't came in the fullness of time this world was ready for total destruction. I believe that fullness of time is upon us again; as we witness the biblical fulfillments of  prophecies from the scriptures: Genesis to Revelation, the end is closing in on us.

Our post words is generally made up of a summary or a lead-in/preamble of our next podcast. In any case for this particular post word the most touching thing that I considered, when I was writing this was the fact that at one time in my life I thought that; "I can't eat." But now I like to say: "Now, I can eat!" I had been so ingrained in the tradition of the foods I grew up on that I had no clue or what I should eat after learning God's truth about the foods I was eating but I did take a dive into what the Bible says about what I should eat and I tried it for 6 months when I first moved to California. I made it a point of not buying any more meats, or any more foods that were against what the Bible taught. And at the time  veggies, fruits, grains and nuts we're cheaper than meats, So I saved on my food bill. I had no idea I could survive off the vegetables, fruits, grain, and nuts but I did and I did well. I felt good that's the most intriguing part. I'm vegetarian.
So if this is you, if you going through this transition yourself, especially now that food is so contaminated. If you're going through this same scenario please don't be dismayed. There is hope even though Satan through man may have polluted our earth? God can fix it for you! With prayer and blessing that food, try eating God's menu as he says: "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies," Psalms 23:5) that also includes Satan himself! And of course Satan has prepared a meal before us as well, lowering us away from the good things of God. If it's true we are what we eat. Could it have something to do with our behavior? That may be why people do so many heinous crimes in this world, I don't know. It's amazing how scientists has proven that when we eat a clean diet we have clearer thoughts, hmm? Listen you can change, try God's diet, it'll make you feel better and you'll be healthier. "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)

Heads up for those of you who love money, who worship money as your God. One of these days you're going to have more of it than you can count, in fact it's just going to lay out in the street and nobody's going to want to count it. Why? Because it's going to be worthless. Let me read it for you: "They shall cast their silver in the street, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their goal shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels because it is the stumbling block of there iniquity."
(Ezekiel 7:19) and a sister text about wealth pointing to a similar situation, I found:
"For in one hour so great riches is come to nought/nothing. And every shipmaster and all the company/crewmen in ships, including sailors, and as many as trade by sea." (Revelation 18:17) paraphrased read it. They describe their wealth as worthless. So whether you found the love of money through gambling, through investing, through plain out lusting after the thing it can buy, or from simple greed; believe me you can't take it with you to heaven. And the damage it does to you by hoarding it, or treasuring it here on Earth just may keep you out of heaven; if you don't repent & return to God. So as I stated in my last podcast about gambling let every man and woman be convinced in their own hearts before God, you be the judge. Don't let money become your God, Amen.

Many a times our post words lead into our next podcast, so stay tuned don't miss out on this one, because a lot of people have suffered shipwreck not knowing what does the Bible say about gambling and investment. It depends on where your heart is that matters. If you can't settle in your heart that you're doing it for the glory of God (Mark 12:42-44) and most  of us can't say we're doing it for the glory of God, you judge your own actions because God will. Maybe you invested in the poor, the needy, or a good God-fearing Church; and even then if you're doing it for notoriety or the wrong reason; even that could be a sin. Case and point: Remember what those rich people did in the temple and Jesus said to his disciples:
This widow woman who put in two mites has given more than they who gave from their abundance to the treasury, all because she gave God all she had and from her heart. (Mark 12:41-44). Read it. So the little guy who picked up one lottery ticket or the big guy who buy a whole dozen tickets, it's still could be gambling it's where their hearts and motives lie. Whether you the little guy who worked all your life and you invested in a stock or a rich guy who go to the stock market everyday and invest in stock at the end it's a Gamble.  It is said that the reason some of the wealthy people don't want the lottery is because every now and then a little guy gets a leg up, join their ranks and become wealthy. You judge, regardless what you do, if it's for greedy gain, it is sin.

You have to hold on to that strand of faith, to see you through to the other side, Jesus said if we had mustard seed faith we could move a mountain, (Matthew 17:20) read it. Believe me brothers and sisters when God weaned his spirits on this wicked Earth we're going to need our faith in Jesus Christ. That's what we're going to need when the enemy antichrist/Satan back by the Beast nations come against us when he is persecuting God's Church we going to need real faith to go through the firey trial of the persecution. It's okay to be shaking it's okay to even fall down but just remember, get back up. Jesus fell down under the weight of the cross but he was strengthen with Simon of Cyrene (Mark 15:21) who helped bare the cross and He got back up again. And bare our sins that day on that tree! (1Peter 2:24) read it.
