Heavy Metal Tones

So this week i revisit one of the first albums i talked about way back in the very first episodes. I did make one blunder i mention Speed of light but i did mean to say El dorado. Oh well you’ll understand when you listen i’m sure. Is this the best the band has put out since 2000 i would say have a listen and see what i think

As we move forward with the resurgence of analog medium and all that entails has the point been missed, Stereo was once king and now seems relegated to fancy names and even fancier systems. Are we letting down the future listeners and denying them the beauty of master craftsman's fine works and all the audio landscape's they produce.

This Weeks episode features Steven Wilsons look on brooding, soul searching journeys of loss and regret. This is not to say its hard to listen to as this is not the case its rich with textural diversity and in parts very heavy both in musical content and rhythmically. I do cover some personal and sad stories so please if you find this too much then maybe this episode might not be for you and if thats the case i will catch you next week. Here is the video to the single i mentioned in the show https://youtu.be/A64J8mo8oZE?si=JGzNSWXrUYg469wJ

In the history of modern music be it heavy or not John Lydon AKA Johnny Rotten is a musician has said what he likes and sometimes has been put to the sword for it. With his secod musical life Public Image Ltd he has been at the forefront of the changes in a post punk world. This his latest album with the band is by far one of the best albums i have heard in a long time and quite possibly his best ever. You be the judge of that after you have listened to the show come and let me know your thoughts

This week is a tale of two parts what not to do in the music industry and how to make an album that is so influential that may have changed the face of modern metal forever but sadly the band never lived up to its potential
