The Transit Gateway is an evolution of Amazon’s transit VPC. It centralizes VPN connectivity to multiple VPCs, allowing for greater scale as well as simplified connectivity and management of the VPNs that connect VPCs.

Nick Matthews is our inside guide to this service. He’s a Principal Solutions Architect at AWS.
