What are the events that “trigger” the Greater Exodus? One of them is this: the nations of the world will declare a Palestinian state with West Bank as it’s heartland and East Jerusalem as its capitol. This will result in the judgment of the nations. Central to this judgment is a judgment on the “daughter of Babylon” nation, which, I believe, is the USA.
This judgment on Babylon is described in Isaiah 13, Isaiah 21, Isaiah 47, Jeremiah 50, Jeremiah 51, and Revelation 18.
One of many prophesies that Northern kingdom and Southern kingdom will be reunited is found in Ezekiel 37: 15-28. The Greater Exodus is happening while Babylon is being judged.
Here is the principle: As Babylon is judged, Jacob is redeemed. As Babylon falls, Israel rises.
Just as the children of Israel came out of Egypt at Passover, so the exiles of Israel who are scattered to all the nations will “come out” of the nations, be gathered and led home on a journey to Israel by Yeshua…at the time of Passover.
The tribulation period is called “Jacob’s trouble”. It is associated with birth pangs, like a woman in labor, giving birth. At the beginning of Jacob’s trouble we will have the birth of “biblical Zion”:
Before she was in labor, she gave birth;
Before her pain came,
She delivered a male child.
Who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day?
Or shall a nation be born at once?
For as soon as Zion was in labor,
She gave birth to her children.
Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the LORD.
“Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God. Isaiah 66:7-9
Biblical Zion is a nation that is born in ONE DAY during the time of travail. The woman in Revelation 12:1-2, 5-6, gives birth to the Messiah, AND she gives birth to the biblical Zion nation (Messiah’s seed).
The Greater Exodus ends up being the resolution of the conflict between Jacob and Esau. It lasts for 1260 days (three and one half years).
