This week’s Torah portion completes the story specific to the plagues of Egypt, in parsha ‘Bo,’ (Exodus 10:1 through 13:16), and the basis for literally ‘the beginning of months’, and the time of Pesach.
Again, the bottom line for the signs, miracles, and plagues is “Ani YHVH!”. And this time there’s a specific instruction as a result — albeit one that the ‘whore church’ has ignored, often even lied about, for centuries.
On Erev Shabbat, as usual, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa goes through the whole story, picking up this time with the plague of locusts, and culminating with the ‘death of the firstborn’.
Be sure to ‘stay tuned’ for the Sabbath Day teaching, and “food for thought.” Often, we tend to look for prophetic parallels, and indications from accounts like this one to attempt to establish “where we are” on a timeline. And Mark has always been a big proponent of understanding cycles, and patterns.
But the Sabbath day teaching this week definitely explores a slightly different perspective. There are certainly things in this week’s plagues that suggest parallels. We have plagues of locusts, not only literal but certainly metaphoric. And that applies even more so to the kind of “darkness which may be FELT.”
Yet there are other major differences, too. Pharoah then did NOT want to “let the people go,” while today’s pharoah-equivalents seem intent on killing masses of them instead. And there’s certainly no candidate for a Moses-like contender to confront hard-hearted tyrants now like there was then, much less a general understanding of just Who is driving the narrative.
All the more reason to look very closely into what the story is teaching us.

This is the one-year anniversary of what is probably THE most devastating false flag operation in AmeriKan history – and certainly the most ridiculous.
But at least it helps reveal a very important point, even one that offers some hope in spite of the level of undisguised Evil that it illustrates:
Many people can – and have – missed the road signs that warn of what lies ahead.
But sometime a “bump in the road” can wake up a driver who has fallen asleep at the wheel. It beats ending up dead in the ditch — or over the cliff. And the choice, as well as the message, has never been more stark.
This week’s Torah portion describes the first of the plagues of Egypt, in parsha ‘Vayera,’ (Exodus 6:2 through chapter 9).
And that word, ‘vayera,’ translated as “and I appeared” begins a verse that has been described as confusing, since it SEEMS to imply that Yahuah had NOT ‘made Himself known’ to the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, via that Name. But, in fact, He certainly did, as the text makes clear, more than once. So there must be another explanation; indeed, there are several possibilities, but Mark suggests that the one most clear is also the one that this Book is all about: “Ani YHVH!”:
On Erev Shabbat, as usual, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa goes through the whole story, including so many of the fascinating patterns that underlie the sets of plagues:
The Sabbath day teaching this week is about the heart of the questions raised by what it means that “by my Name ‘Yahuah’ I did not – then – make Myself known to them…” but – in THIS part of the story, He certainly does. One of those questions is arguably, “well, then, what about NOW?” Many of those who claim to be “followers” or “believers” don’t seem to know what His Name even is, much less what “making His Name KNOWN — to US! — really implies.
But that’s just the beginning.

Confusion reigns, especially at a time like this. And sometimes the reasons why are clear in Scripture, and yet absolutely ignored by those who have never been taught the “difference between the clean and the unclean, the holy and the profane.”
This week the topic has to do with mixing things that ‘shouldn’t oughta be mingled’ — and why NOT to.
Most listeners to Hebrew Nation Radio are probably well aware by now that the Real Messiah was NOT born in the dead of winter, much less on the solstice, and that most of the customs associated with this season are pagan. But it’s also true that most people, particularly during this time of the year, simply don’t care.
So there is something else to consider during this season:
If you were the communist Chinese, and had finally succeeded in infiltrating much of the US military, had a successful bioweapon deployment in progress, and a puppet in place in the Oval Office as well, what comes next?
And is there a better time than now to take that step?
Join Mark Call for a look at what both Scripture and a blunt look at the facts, and the Big Lies, suggest we should be prepared for.
Primed for War – on every front
Parsha ‘Vayechi,’ “And lived Yakov…” is the last one in the Book of Genesis, and concludes the lives of both Yakov, or Jacob, and later his son Yosef/Joseph (Genesis/Bereshiet 47:28 on). It’s also arguably the first of the “grafting in” stories of the ‘house of Israel,’ in the form of Yakov’s ‘adoption’ of Yosef’s two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh (or is it the other way around?) into the ‘twelve’ tribes — depending on how they are counted in context, of course.
And it sets the stage for the bondage to follow.
On Erev Shabbat, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa first covers the whole story, and some of those important nuances:
On first reading, this might be one of the few stories in the Bible where there is no obvious antagonist, or bad guy, much less a character that seems to represent ‘the Adversary,’ or outright evil. And yet, the word certainly appears, and there’s a setup for the next Book of Exodus that begs an important question: How did these sons of Israel descend so dramatically into bondage and slavery?
And, interestingly, it took about the same time for them as it did for America, since the Revolution for independence, to end up in another form of bondage.
Mark suggests that it hinges on a question that Jacob asks his son, apparently concerning his grandsons, but also for which he already knew the answer: “Whose are THESE?”
The Sabbath Day teaching suggests the question is about FAR more than meets the eye.

We are currently seeing the biggest fiat currency and debt bubble in human history, the biggest bioweapon attack in history, and the aftermath of more than one of the biggest criminal scandals in history.
“Are we THERE, yet?” That, of course, depends very much of where “there” is, but, no doubt about it, we getting close to SOMETHING. Even if most people would still prefer to ignore the consequences.
Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for a two-part look at parsha ‘Vayigash,’ (Genesis/Bereshiet 44:18 – 47:27): the second part of the “cliffhanger” story, where we see how Yosef’s plan works out, and the surprising development that makes it far different – and certainly better! – than he seemed to have been expecting.
Joseph clearly had a plan. And when we left off the story last week, at the ‘cliffhanger’, it was at the point of “Max Q” – where the stresses have reached the point where the ‘Truth will out’. And that turns out to be not just a turning point in all of their lives, but all of history.
First, on Erev Shabbat, Mark goes over the setup, and the whole story:
The Sabbath Day teaching is really about plans: Joseph’s plan to begin with, and, more importantly, how it fit with his Master’s far greater, larger, longer term plan.
There is, of course, an important lesson for us in here as well. And it might not necessarily be precisely many of us were taught in ‘sun-god-day skool’. Sometimes we DO have to discern, test, and ‘make judgments’ even. From here on out, it may well be a matter of life and death.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that the “Great Divide” separating those who are ‘drinking the Kool-Aid’ of the Branch Covidians grows deeper by the day…right along with the death toll of that gullibility.
As a result, it’s now clear that AmeriKa-with-a-K is now closer to a real internal war — already in progress, arguably killing millions, but increasingly certain to turn physical — than it has been for a century-and-a-half. Which means those seeking to “come out of her,” have things to consider, and choices to make.
The Great Disconnect
One of the big ‘hurdles’ that those of us who have “come out of her,” or ‘taken the red pill,’ or just started to see that so many “conspiracy theories” have turned out to be REAL face, is that most TV-watching, mainstream-media-believing people just can’t IMAGINE how TRULY Evil those who seek their destruction really are.
“No, nobody could possibly be THAT…depraved, psychopathic, or, yeah downright Evil.” How evil? And there’s a part of the problem. To actually describe the level of Evil working so hard to control, enslave, and ultimately kill hundreds of millions of people today, means we run out of adjectives, superlatives, or even expletives to describe it.
No wonder people can’t believe it. And that is getting them killed. And worse…
But in today’s show, Mark isn’t looking to just DESCRIBE the “level of evil,” or even prove it.
It’s hard to fight something you can’t even describe, much less understand. But you had better be able to recognize it for what it is.
