Parsha “Shelach-Lekha” (Numbers chapters 13 through 15) is sometimes thought of as the ‘story of the spies’. Mark sometimes refers to it as the ‘first recorded VOTE in human history as well,’ nothing that it went badly, and those who trusted Yahuah “lost”, 10-2.

The former united States are now facing the greatest threat in the history of the Republic (and in no small part because so many have been dumbed-down to the point they no longer even know what that means).

And now we’ve seen Yet Another Attempt to get that long-planned race war/civil var/Thin-Blue-Line War finally kicked off.

And this time, it may even succeed, and reach “critical mass”.

“The NEXT Shoe to Drop”

This is another special week, since the regular Torah portion is — at least somewhat! — pre-empted by the final spring feast of Shavuot.

But because it turns out to be SO apropos anyway, Mark Call decided to incorporate at least SOME of parsha “Naso” (Numbers 4:21 through chapter 6, in this case) into this week’s two-part teaching.

The Erev Shabbat overview and “set-up” includes both the first couple of chapters of that parsha, along with some traditional readings from Exodus chapters 19 through 20 (the giving of the Torah and ‘Ten Debarim’ at Mount Sinai) as well, since that was at least the FIRST part of what happened during this time, so long ago.

The Sabbath midrash is not only about Shavuot, this final of the three Spring feasts [moedim], but how so much of what is happening RIGHT NOW in the biggest orchestrated global economic meltdown in history, but also the explicit destruction of most of “western civilization’ and the American republics as well, is literally about as much of a “proof” of the validity of Scripture as could be hoped for.

How do placebo masks, the ‘woman caught in adultery,’ and even the Book of Ruth manage to relate SO specifically to what happened in our history, and is now unfolding all around us, and more so than ever on this special day?

Over the decade or so at this point that host Mark Call has been quoting Revelation 18:4, and advising that we take to heart the advice to “Come out of her, My people,” the concept of “follow the money” – or what at least now passes for it! — has been a frequent topic. It helps us to understand why “dishonest weights and measures,” like fiat currency, are such an abomination of YHVH.

But it has never been more clear, and urgent, to realize that the END of that system is at hand, and is coming apart, and DOWN, exactly as PLANNED.

Parsha “Bemidbar” begins the new Book with the same name (“Nunbers” in the English, which is also quite descriptive!) with instructions that Yahuah gave to Moses b’midbar, or “In the wilderness” of Sinai.

It is also the first commanded “head count” in the Bible, and it’s interesting that the colloquial term is a better translation of the literal Hebrew (“lift up the head”) than the idea of merely taking a census.

There’s also an important implication in the way the text is structured that what is intended here (“by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of NAMES”) is far more than just treating the many individuals among the mixed multitude simply as ‘numbers’.

The Sabbath midrash picks up with another question about the numbers themselves, and why Scripture gives us so much detail about them. And that, in turn, should really raise some eyebrows today (interesting how His Word resonates, even in ways we don’t necessarily expect!) — because it should help us to understand TRUST. Why it matters, and where we must put it!

By now it’s hopefully clear to all those with “eyes to see,” that the current war on the once-free American people not only has NOTHING to do with protecting them from Covid-19 [84] but everything to do with establishing a “new world order” Tyranny that they couldn’t accomplish without the total destruction of the Constitutional Republic.

They start with the “shemitta” year, or year of rest for the land on a seven-year cycle. And like so many other things that don’t SEEM to apply, now that we’re in exile after being kicked OUT of the land so many centuries ago, “for cause”, many of us have bought into the lie that all of such “old testament” stuff doesn’t matter anyway.

Which is arguably one of the reasons why we are still IN exile!

But there is far more, and it matters far more now than ever before in our history.

The Sabbath midrash picks up with a question that has been asked frequently concerning the curses of Leviticus chapter 26, and Deuteronomy 28: WHY does Yah go into so much more graphic detail about the CURSES for rebellion to Him than He does the blessings?

The answer seems to be playing out RIGHT NOW, all around us, and perhaps as never before in history!

Once upon a time, this show made the point, fairly frequently even, that formerly free people, having traded essential liberty for a little temporary security, and their birthright for nothing more than a cup of pottage, were descending into slavery.

Now, we’re there. Free people choose; slaves follow orders. And AmeriKa-with-a-K has a LOT of slaves today.
