Meanwhile, the Unprepared, but Scared, fight over rolls of toilet paper and hand sanitizer, while ignoring things they may really need, like food.

Is this ‘Covid-19’ Coronavirus pandemic — admitted openly yet or not — “the Big one”? And even if it is, do we expect that those who have sleep-walked through all the previous warnings will suddenly wake up and decide to “come out of her” for this one?

Truthfully, it may already be too late for many, because by now no doubt there are perhaps thousands of people infected by carriers who still won’t show symptoms for days, if not weeks. And that’s probably not long enough for those who are still smoking, drinking aspartame-laced soft-poisons, and eating frankencorn, pork, shellfish, and other ‘NOT-Food’ to get their immune systems ready for the onslaught. Those who know Who they serve, on the other hand, are as ready as we can be.

So what NOW? AFTER the disaster, after “TSHTF,” and “TEOTWAWKI” — what THEN?

The Sabbath day teaching suggests that one of the interesting aspects of this parsha, especially in the context of ‘current events’, is that it’s almost a “time out”.

Moses is up on the mountain, if we’ve read ahead, we already know what’s going to happen next (and so does Yah!) and there’s already a plan in place to begin the process of restoration. And He gives people the opportunity to learn to give, too.

What does learning to give – from things that were all from Him anyway! – have to do with dealing with tests we still have to face?

It’s been several weeks now, and even the Ministry of Truth “mainstream” media is finally getting the word that “it’s time to panic,” and that seems to be true for the stock market as well.

Truth be told, however, (and that’s ONE of the Big Goals on this show) the virus itself isn’t the biggest threat associated with this whole scenario. The economic fallout, already in progress, from disruption of the “global supply chain,” and all of the confidence and society-undermining that goes with it, is probably a bigger issue.

But it’s the Big Brother heavy-handed reaction (witness communist China already) may be the greatest potential killer of all.

“What’s WORSE than a Global Pandemic?”

This week Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship examines parsha “Mishpatim,” (Exodus chapters 22 through 24) which follows the “Ten Commandments” in a way that too many who teach that the “law is done away with” would no doubt prefer to CONTINUE to ignore.

The Erev Shabbat overview points out why the name “mishpatim,” ordinances, or judgments, is apropos, (there are more of ’em in this parsha than any other) but the structure itself speaks volumes. If the ‘ten commandments’ outline our relationships, first to our Creator, then our fellow man, in order that we might know how to stay OUT of the bondage of Egypt, then here is an immediate, dramatic contrast!

The Sabbath day teaching is about what happens when the “Law” really IS “done away with”. Not by the One True Creator, YHVH, of course, but men who not only don’t like what He Wrote, but hate Him.

There has perhaps never been a more clear demonstration of what “lawlessness abounds” means! And this portion outlines the framework: Destroy “law”, destroy marriage and family, and slavery – REAL Slavery! – follows.

This show is a story of cascading collapses, events on many fronts coming together to produce what might be called a “grand super-cycle climax,” or simply, the “Perfect Storm.”

In Virginia, “representatives” who put their collectivist hands on a Bible and lied were hardly even slowed down by the presence of 50 or 100 thousand law-abiding armed citizens who showed up to remind them who they are supposed to serve. They merely spat in their faces, doubled-down, and continued their efforts to steal property once protected by the Bill of Rights.

Will Americans who realize how far down the Road to Tyranny we have already come be polite NEXT time when they realize that “petitioning the government for a redress of grievances,” or even “elections,” don’t mean much when wannabe dictators make war on them?

“Bo,” or GO to Pharoah, is how the final installment of the story of the ten (or, three sets of three, plus one) plagues of Egypt ends, as the command to remember and TEACH it, as the Passover, begins.

The final plague in the sequence, death of the firstborn, is indeed different, for several reasons. And all of those shed great light on the narrative, and the nature of what is, and is NOT, happening now.

The final plague is particularly unique in that it not only requires the children of Israel to DO something specific, in order to see HOW Yahuah will “put a difference” between His people and those who will see suffer the death of the firstborn, but a repeated commandment to remember and teach it to our children, and children’s children, forever.

This story creates a narrative that is to be taught, and thus shape our lives and culture. It is, and was, supposed to be “forever”. And the fact that it has been so generally ignored, and the narrative even replaced with pagan, even “death-oriented” narratives, instead is vital to understand, and CORRECT, while there is time.
