One of the least read yet most misunderstood books of the Bible, Leviticus, is in fact, the heart of the Torah. Leviticus begins with a phrase that sets the theme for the entire book, “And He called”. Vayikra (Leviticus) is, at its core, a beautiful invitation to draw near to HaShem and without a proper understanding of this book, our entire Biblical understanding may indeed be corrupted.
There are more continuous chapters of Scripture devoted to the building of the Tabernacle than to any other single subject, throughout all of Scripture. Yet, so much of the Tabernacle & Temple is not studied or taught, or it is terribly misunderstood. This week on IBR, we continue our discussion on the Tabernacle.

In this time of American political upheaval, I have had one major question on my mind: What is the Body of Messiah supposed to be learning from this? How are we, as the Body, supposed to respond to political volatility? Do we segregate ourselves? Do we become mired in the fray? Does the Bible speak to this moment? How do we bear the Father’s image in this time?
This is our second week looking at the life and story of Joseph. In one of the most dramatic scenes of Scripture, Joseph introduces himself to his brothers and delivers one of the most powerful statements in all of the Bible. This week we focus on Joseph’s attitude towards his brothers and seek to find application for us today.
The story of Joseph has been one that has fascinated generations and rightfully so. Joseph’s story is our story. With it’s many layers, Joseph’s life challenges us to grow in wisdom and stature, as our Messiah Yeshua did Himself.
