From the first nine verses of John chapter 14, Rabbi Steve Berkson shows us that Messiah Yeshua was the “ultimate expression of discipleship” under His Father. As followers of Messiah, we should be the same, so that others will see Yeshua represented in us and ultimately see the Father.
What did Yeshua do? He walked out the Torah-observant life perfectly. He invites us to do the same and provides help by sending His Spirit.
What’s in a name? Yeshua says, “if you ask whatever in My Name…” Does this mean that, if His Name is invoked like a magic genie, He has to do one’s bidding? Rabbi Steve clarifies what Messiah meant when He told us to use His Name.
Rabbi Berkson once again dissects these passages so that you will have a deeper understanding of what Yah expects of you, so that you can do it and receive the blessings.

The Torah portion this week, called “Vaetchanan” in the Hebrew (Deuteronomy 3:11-7:11) is SO central to an understanding of why a return to the REAL teachings of the Messiah, Yahushua HaMashiach, is very literally a matter of Life and Death, that Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa thought it should be linked under the title that, while it might seem controversial, is also undeniable:

July 26 Mark Call – Torah Teaching for parsha ”Vaet’Chanan”
Parsha ‘Vaet-Chanan’ (Deuteronomy 3:23-7:11) continues Moses’ ‘Farewell Address’ and lesson with “…and I BESOUGHT” Yahuah — but he was not allowed to enter the land, and that is followed up with some of the most important commandments in all of Scripture. But the “Ten Debarim” are just part of that; Yahushua noted that what precedes it, “Shema Israel,” is even greater.
It is central to what Mark has called “Yahushua’s Razor.”

And since it also, without question, includes THE most important commandments in Scripture (to the point where He even uses the Singular – as in THE Commandment) this is the context where
