Audio reading: Exodus 34:10-26, Mark 10:32-52, Psalm 45:1-17, Prov 10:22

The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace;

Her clothing is woven with gold.

She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors;

The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to You.

With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought;

They shall enter the King’s palace.  Psalm 45: 13-15

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle

or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.  Ephesians 5:25-27

Are you making yourself ready for your soon coming bridegroom? May we take time to reflect, repent, and be cleansed on the inside with the washing of the water of the WORD!

Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for a two-part look this week at Torah parsha, Tetzaveh, (Exodus 27:20-30:10) which, among other things, describes in some detail the special clothing to be made and worn by the cohenim, or priests, when they serve the people and YHVH in the mishkan.

Again, the Bible gives us an amazing amount of detail. And explains that these garments are to be "for spendor and for beauty." Why? And why is it important now, especially?

The Erev Shabbat reading:

How important are clothes, really? Do we place to much emphasis on "looking the part?" This section of Scripture certainly indicates that when it comes to the cohenim who serve Him in the 'set apart place,' the answer is 'very'.

But, this year in particular, given the events that are building to what looks like a 'Biblical-level climax' of almost unbelievable Evil...there is something else to observe.

The Sabbath day midrash is thus all about 'contrast' --

Tetzaveh: Splendor and Beauty? Or - for Squalor and Ugly..."

The power of Blessings is mostly underrated. The word for blessing is found throughout the Bible and in this episode, we will look at 2 of the Psalms - 1 and 103 - that tell us we will receive blessings from our Heavenly Father if we walk in His ways, and then encourage us to bless our Heavenly Father for all the ways that He has enriched our lives. Blessings require an intentional act on our part. You can't accidentally give a blessing. In the same way, we can't accidentally walk in the path our Heavenly Father directs for us. We must make a choice. It's either the world's way, or His way. Choose wisely!

Steve Rees has been producing Harp Music from the Psalms of David for the past 20 years. He has discovered a connection between the Hebrew text of the Psalms and music notes that develop into chord progressions that form the basis for musical compositions that have been appreciated by thousands of followers. We invite you to join the many lives that have been positively affected by this wonderful music.

The Psalms are always an encouragement as we see how David and the other authors dealt with the situations that surrounded them. Psalms 27 and 118 are no exception. Shirley is reading these Psalms as I am playing the music from them so there is a double impact of the words and the music of the harp. We hope and pray you are encouraged and blessed as you listen to the words and music of the Psalms of David. Blessings :-)

The Torah teachers, Mark Pitrone, Mark Call, and Ray Harrison, take a detailed look at the Book of the prophet Isaiah, chapter 25, and then into 26.

David Justice and Mark Call take a look back at a week where literally NO one with even a shred of integrity can deny that the Rule of Law, at least in the Cesspool of New York City, is utterly dead.

And, on every front, Evil is being called "good," and what was Good is not only demonized, but is being destroyed.

Signs of the times...

It turns out that the Fake News Media not only lied about the poison poke, they've lied about the dangers of 'transgendering,' too.

But when it came to the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Superbowl victory parade, there was a whole LOT of information that just plain didn't get reported. It even seems to suggest an agenda.

All too often, it seems...

"It's What You DON'T Know"

News and commentary for Wednesday, 21 February, 2024.

And it's definitely a 'different' kind of news day...

How do we get our lives unstuck? Is belief alone the thing that gets our lives moving and producing the kind of fruit we & God desire? How do we actualize the idealized version of ourselves?

In this series, we are seeking to answer the question Yeshua asked His disciples in John 1:38, "What do you want?". Not only are we going to find out what we truly desire, but also some proven ways to become the image-bearing people we were created to be.
