People typically don’t engage in normal conversation about ‘evil’, though they may have a brief discussion when they see something in a news headline or in a movie or TV show that they perceive as evil. But do you know how much ‘evil’ is written about in your Bible? Do you know the true, scriptural definition of ‘evil’? How does this knowledge affect your walk of faith? Rabbi Steve Berkson is among the few who take on the challenge of teaching from Scripture about the topic of ‘evil’.
You will be amazed and often surprised as Rabbi Berkson dissects the verses from the Bible, one by one if necessary, to teach what he has discovered and how these discoveries will definitely impact your life – both physically and spiritually. Rabbi Berkson starts at the beginning, in the book of Genesis, as he has in other teachings, to provide a comprehensive understanding of this topic.

The regular annual-cycle Torah parsha reading this week isn’t really ‘regular.’ We’re heading into the Fall Feasts (moedim) of YHVH, so the special readings that go with the Holy Days are on the menu, and only the last few chapters in Deuteronomy remain, before the cycle begins anew with “Bereshiet” – the first part of Genesis. Which is why Mark Call, of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship, has decided to digress a bit, for reasons he explains.
The major ‘Jewish calendar’ (aka, ‘Hillel,’ or Diaspora, etc) lists this Sabbath, the 12th of September Roman, as “Rosh Hoshana,” the ‘head of the year.’ But Scripture consistently refers to it as Yom Teruah, the Day of Shouting, or the Shofar, and it marks the literal countdown for all the rest of the Fall Feasts. And that date – interesting – can vary quite a bit, if you compare calendar understandings.
Which really means the readings, and midrash, for this week are going to be unique.
Some – be forewarned – will also see them as perhaps controversial, largely because current events, and what is too often ignored by BOTH ‘whoring houses,’ is at odds with Official Dogma. The reason why will be made clear.
The Erev Shabbat reading comes from both Genesis and the story of Yitzak [Isaac] — and a bit of the second “Song of Moses from Deuteronomy 32, and introductory commentary:
The Sabbath Day Midrash begins with the connection between “where we are today,” and “how we got here,” to those things that Mark suggests most people listening probably NEVER heard in a ‘mainstream’ church or synagogue. Because both of them are still in the exile they were promised:

The combined two-part reading and Sabbath midrash:
Among other notable things, this week was a major anniversary of more than one false flag, and execution, reminding those who still love the Truth – that we have yet to see it.
Join host Mark Call for a deeper look at those, and other events – and what that tells us now, as of Friday, 11 September, 25 years later.
This is the 25th Anniversary of an event that most people who were alive will never forget. Nor, arguably, will they ever hear the truth about it.
Most won’t even ask the right questions. ‘
Join David Justice and Mark Call for a discussion that CNN-ABC-CBS-NBC-PBS, or certainly the BBC would never allow.
But if “things hidden” are — as our Messiah promised — eventually to be revealed, does that mean even those who have “no love of the Truth,” and thus under the Delusion, will ever figure it out?
There’s a message here.
Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity
So it never was an excuse for a whole society, either.
Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us on a deep dive into Scripture’s spiritual underworld, led by an entity known in Scripture as HaSatan. Understanding the enemy of our faith is crucial to living a successful Torah-observant life.
