When CNN and MSDNC tell you to “PANIC!” – we all should now by now not to believe them.

But there is a lot going on.

How does ‘worry’ relate to Yahweh’s vertical authority structure?

What does it mean to “be sober and watch”?

Wrapping up the topic of ‘worry,’ Rabbi Steve Berkson reveals the answers to these questions by taking us to 1 Peter chapter 5.

The next enemy of peace is ‘doubt,’ Rabbi Berkson examines the event in Matthew 14:22, Yeshua walking on water.

What occurs to peace in a state of being ‘double-minded’?

Then, going all the way back to the beginning, Rabbi Berkson guides us to Genesis chapter 3, where we see the event involving Adam and Eve, the “snake”, and the forbidden fruit, and how that event thrust all of mankind into a “World Not His.”

This week we begin the reading and study of the Book of Vayikra, or Leviticus, with chapters 1 through 5.

And, sadly, this is one of those Books where some folks just hear the name (‘Leviticus’) and their eyes begin to glaze over; “it’s SO boring,” and “what difference does it make anyway?”

Which is the best reason you’ll hear to take an honest look at what it really says, why it matters NOW, more than ever, and why we have been lied to so thoroughly about all of it. Because you can’t understand the real Messiah, or recognize the fakes, without understanding what we have almost certainly NOT been taught!

Starting with the overview, and reading, to understand a bit of that distinction:

He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Yes, many if not most of us who have attended the vast majority of ‘denominational churches’ have probably heard the term “Old” Testament, and one of the Biggest Lies in all of history: that somehow “Jesus did away with the Law,” or “nailed it to the cross,” so nothing the Bible says about “sacrifices” matters any more. Could it be that there is something vitally important that is missing?

This week those “battle lines” became ever more clear.
