In this teaching, Rabbi Steve Berkson begins in Deuteronomy 20 to examine how fear and peace cannot coexist. How do we today “do battle” with others? What’s the “fear factor” in those situations? When a situation feels overwhelming, what do you do? How does leadership fit into the picture?
Then, moving into Numbers chapters 13 and 14, Rabbi Berkson demonstrates how fear is contagious and highlights the failure of leadership when Israel went to spy out the promised land. Why did they have to “spy out” the land?
Rabbi Berkson also offers some life coaching regarding jobs or careers and discusses how the fear of change can seep into one’s walk with Yah.
From there, Rabbi Berkson addresses the issue of “evil speaking, ” in Hebrew “Lashon hara, ” literally, “evil tongue. ” He shares from the perspective of his organization MTOI, detailing the criticisms aimed at him and MTOI. He provides some behind-the-scenes insights about what others have said with the intention of negatively influencing others. Is there another ministry that would be this transparent?

Join Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship for a special “Holy-and-UN” Day rip-roaring discussion of things that don’t fall into the regular annual Torah reading cycle, but are absolutely relevant ‘for such a time as this.’
For the Erev Shabbat (Friday evening) reading, Mark was led to examine Ezekiel’s vision in chapters 8 and 9, in a story he refers to as the “angel with the inkhorn.” And it is undeniably relevant to much of what is happening now, and this weekend in particular.
The Erev Shabbat reading:
During the ‘change-of-pace’ Sabbath Day message, Mark again takes up the theme of the current ‘cusp,’ or turning point, but with the understanding that we have been told that “things hidden will be revealed.” (Matthew 10:26 et al)
And it’s not just pagan practices that have supposedly been ‘christianized,’ in spite of the fact that YHVH says so bluntly that He “hates” them.
It’s virtually every aspect of our world that you can name, from economics, to politics, to science…and even the no-longer-hidden open treason among those “Black-robed priests of Satan.”
Buckle up. This is one you won’t want to miss!
419, False Flags, Fake Gods – Things Hidden Until Such a Time as This
The combined two-part reading and Sabbath midrash:
Incredible connections between Exodus chapters 14 and 15 and Revelation chapters 14 and 15 incredible when read back to back! Pharaoh and the Egyptian army is drowned in the sea in Exodus but then in Revelation the beast with 7 heads 10 horns and 10 crowns representing the culmination and ultimate end time manifestation of the enemy’s beast system throughout history is being resurrected out of the sea! After their salvation through the red sea the children of Israel sang the song of Moses praising YHWH for His Salvation, His Y’shua which is our Savior’s Hebrew Name and means YHWH’s Salvation. YHWH promises the Children of Israel He will bless and heal them of all diseases if they will just obey His statutes and commandments the first of which they were tested on after crossing over was His 7th day Sabbath. We see that the book of Revelation is all about 7s, 7 seals, 7 trumps, and 7 bowls of judgements & wrath. Then the children of Israel camp where there are 12 springs watering 70 palm trees! Revelation 14:7 says, “Fear Elohim and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgement has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the SEA and SPRINGS OF WATER.” Read together with the Exodus account this verse in Revelation is obviously referring us back to the Egyptians being drowned in the sea and the Israelites camping by the 12 springs which water the 70 trees! The 144,000 (12,000 for each of 12 tribes) first fruits represent the 12 springs, second exodus and ultimate judgement of the world’s end times Pharaoh and his beast system! Then in Revelation Babylon falls and the beast enacts his mark. Whomever his mark, name, his number or worships the beast also receives the wrath of YHWH that was intended for the beast and his followers. Those that choose Egypt and the world’s kingdom if you will over YHWH and His Kingdom. The earth is then reaped and those that stood strong in the Lamb having victory over the beast, his image, his mark and the number of his name were delivered from the beast and sing the Song of Moses from the Exodus and the Song of the Lamb by whose salvation they were able to gain the victory over the beast and therefore were delivered out from the 7 bowls of wrath or ultimate plagues of YHWH intended for the beast and his kingdom! HalleluYah!
Join host Mark Call for an extended look at some of the major events, prevarications, and outright treason, for yet another incredible week, ending Saturday, 19 April, 2025.
Which is also the 250th Anniversary of one of the most important events in American history, the day of the “Shot Heard Round the World,” at Lexington and Concord Green, and thus also “Patriot’s Day.” The real one.
Which is in stark contrast to a level of Evil Intent that is no longer even remotely hidden.
Torah teachers Mark Call, Ray Harrison, and intermittently Mark Pitrone, begin a look into some of the Apostolic Writings (aka ‘New’ Testament) that have been too often ‘turned upside down.’
This week, they begin with a study of the Second Letter that Shaul or Paul wrote to the people of Corinth.
Join Mark Call and David Justice as they look at some of the major news stories of the week, expose some of the fraud, and again look at “things once hidden now finally being revealed.”
What is increasingly undeniable now is that those pushing so openly for ‘Civil War 2.0’ really DO want as many Americans as possible to end up DEAD.
Denial is deadly.
This week, Mark welcomes back special guest, author and documentary film-maker, Daniel Holdings.
This is the first time they’ve talked on-air since the election, so there is a LOT to discuss. And things are certainly coming to a head as well.
The final Torah portion reading from the Book of Exodus is parsha “Pekudei” (the ‘Accounts’, Exodus 38:21 through the end of the Book) and it begins with exactly that: a recounting of the gold, silver, and brass that were used to complete the mishkan, or tabernacle in the wilderness.
Again, too, there is much detail, almost to the point of redundancy, but for what appears to be an important reason. Almost word-for-word, what we had been told they WERE to do, is now recounted that they did. And, over and over again, it was “as Yahuah commanded Moses.” Surely there is a lesson there.
The Erev Shabbat reading:
This parsha seems to give an answer to the question, “Why?” Why build that ‘mishkan’ together? Why is that phrase “as Yahuah commanded Moshe,” repeated eighteen TIMES in this parsha alone?
Why does this still matter? Especially now?
