The study of the Book of Ezekiel continues through chapter 6 and into chapter 7.

Much like the Book of Exodus, a continuing theme is “then you shall KNOW,” ki ani YHVH.

No, not that ‘my name is the Lord,” but His Real Name. And given that idolatry is also a major issue in this section, and that it forms the basis for what follows, no wonder that distinction is so important.

And, if you think about inserting a lesson for, say, some Major Swamp City, in places where there is a warning for Jerusalem, since we are already IN exile, some of this might concern in another nation – and time – which has forgotten Him.

The torah teachers continue the study of the Book of the prophet Ezekiel from chapter 3 into 4.

No doubt about it there were – we are – and still are – a ‘rebellious house’.

The teachers wrap up the first chapter of the Book of Ezekiel, and continue the study.

Elements of what the prophet relates sound very much like things repeated in ‘end-times’ prophecies, like Daniel and Revelation.

And it sounds exactly like something that applies at least as much today as it ever did.
