And, arguably, whether things that got their fathers in trouble long past have been forgotten, or can be forgiven. There’s even a bit of disagreement on that score…

What is He talking about in Jeremiah 31:31? Has it HAPPENED yet? The answer is right there in ‘genuine print’ – although most sun-god-day skools may prefer not to read the part that contradicts doctrine crafted for ‘itching ears’.

Perhaps not coincidentally, the theme again seems to have to do with the ‘greater exodus’ still to come, along with judgments for things like idolatry, and his observation (Jer. 30:24) that “in the latter days you shall consider it.”

Sometimes, the ‘moral of the story’ is to settle down and accept the judgment of Yah. Is that still true today? While AmeriKa – and the whole world – have certainly had lots of warnings, perhaps they haven’t been quite as specific as those delivered before they were Written down — even if that’s a pitiful excuse.

Just how much can AmeriKa-with-a-K look like ancient Israel on the brink of destruction and exile?

And THEY didn’t want to listen to the warnings, either!
